Supporting Our Troops

Below are some pictures of our troops in Iraq.  Pay attention to detail on their fire pit – they actually cut and welded the Gurkha logo to it.

We received the following message with these images: “Every soldier over there thinks that you and your company are the best in the world and I agree. Thanks for supporting the troops the way that you do – you are a true American!”

Thanks for the pic, and thank you to the men and women of the Armed Services. Enjoy those cigars!

  2. CPT Harley Jennings says:

My name is CPT Harley Jennings and I am the Commander of the troops you see in these pictures. My men built the porch and the fire pit for us to relax between missions where we exclusively smoke Gurkha cigars. We are currently operating out of Mosul, Iraq and this is my unit’s third deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Thanks again to the entire Gurkha team for bringing us moments of enjoyment here on the front lines one smoke at a time!

    Sincerely,
    CPT Harley Jennings
    Commanding

Being the PROUD Mom & Dad (in-laws) of Captain Jennings we cherish every opportunity to seem him and to know he is well. He must be doing well if he can have a “stogie” in hand and a special place to smoke it. Thank you for supporting our troops and for posting his pictures. May God protect our Warriors and bring them home safely. A side note, our other son-in-law, Lt. Ronnie Mayfield is serving valiantly in the worse part of Afghanistan and I am sure would love the chance to share a cigar with Harley.
